` Do I have to take the entire course?

No, you can take the pieces that pertain to your own needs.
If you want the credit, however, you will need to complete all components of the entire course.

~ I only want SB-CEUs - do I have still do all the projects?

Yes, all the work is required for any means of credit.

~ I would like to learn only some topics, but not all. Do I have to register for the sessions?

No, you can review the videos and complete the assignments on your own. You do not have to be part of a class to gain from the 21 Things.

~ May I complete the 21 Things at my own pace?

If you are taking the course for credit, you will need to remain on the course schedule.
If you are completing the video viewing and activities on your own, you may complete them at your own pace.

~ I want to take the course for GVSU credit, how do I pay for that? Is there a course code?

When you attend the face to face session, you will fill out the GVSU credit paperwork and make your payment then.

~ Will the OAISD offer more sessions of the 21 Things?

Yes, sessions will be offered in the summer, fall, and spring.

~ What topics will be covered in the face to face session?

The face to face session will cover
  • Using Adobe Connect, as a participant
  • Credit elements required
  • Assignments
  • Using Moodle as your project submission and participation tool

~ The face to face session does not work in my schedule, how can I make up that session?

The face to face session is a required session that cannot be "made up." If you want credit, you must attend.
Options, however, include
  • Attending the session through another REMC/ISD
  • Waiting for the next round of trainings to see if the face to face will fit your schedule
  • Not take the course for credit

~Where can I register for sessions?

REMC7 21 Things Registration ($25 for REMC7 members, $100 for non REMC7 members)
